Wilmington Design Co. is a three-time winner of the 2017-2018 American Web Design Awards competition for their online creative work for local and regional clients. This is the sixth consecutive year Wilmington Design has been recognized by Graphic Design USA, but it’s the first time that they have been recognized for their web design work in this new competition.
“We were really honored to be recognized in this web design competition,” said Bill Hunter, president and CEO of Wilmington Design. “We’ve spent a lot of time focusing our web design and development efforts on user experience and conversion-based design. These three sites are good examples of that clean, straight-forward focus. We are thrilled to be included among so many national cutting-edge firms.”
This year, the American Web Design Awards competition had just over 1,500 entries from all across the country. Only 15% of the entries were recognized as a winner. The American Web Design Awards showcases the power of design to enhance online communications and user experience, with a growing emphasis on web design, and UX design. Graphic Design USA has been honoring great design through its national competitions for more than 55 years. The competition was open to advertising agencies, graphic design firms, and corporate in-house design departments from all across the United States.
